Two youths killed in road accident near Chevella
TANDUR: Two young men died in a road accident near Malkapur Gate in Chevella mandal of Ranga Reddy district on Thursday.
The victims were identified as Salman (26) and Vadla Ravi (25), both natives of Pagidala village in Yalal mandal of Vikarabad district. The duo lived in Shivapuri Colony, Manikonda, Hyderabad, and worked in private jobs.
Police said the two were travelling to Hyderabad on a two-wheeler after visiting relatives in Parigi town when an unidentified vehicle rammed their bike near Malkapur Gate and sped away.
Both sustained severe injuries and died on the spot. Chevella police reached the site and shifted the bodies to Chevella government hospital for postmortem.
The deaths of the two friends have cast a pall of gloom over their native village.
