Two women found murdered in two separate incidents in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In a ghastly incident, the wife of a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) was murdered by some unknown persons on Monday evening in Hyderabad.
The deceased woman has been identified as 44-year-old Sudha Rani who was staying with her RMP doctor husband Uma Maheshwar Rao in Navodaya colony of Yellareddyguda. Rao is running his Amma clinic in the same locality. The couple has a son Srikar Chandra and a daughter Rudra Rani.
The Jubilee Hills police said after returning from school both the kids went to take tuition classes and their father to his clinic which is located near the temple in Yellareddyguda.
After returning home, the children found their mother killed and was lying on the floor in a pool of blood. They alerted their father Uma Maheshwar Rao who immediately closed down his clinic and rushed home.
Upon receiving a call from Rao, the police reached there and launched a preliminary probe into the ghastly murder. The clues team collected crucial information from the scene. The police have registered a case against a few unidentified persons and are investigating.
Another woman murdered in city
In another incident, a former banker Bandi Spandana (29) was found murdered in Miyapur on Monday. The deceased woman was a native of Visakhapatnam and was residing with her mother Namrata, who is a teacher at a school, and brother in a flat at Deepthisri Nagar in Hyderabad.
According to SI Venkateswarlu, Spandana and Varanasi got married in 2022 but were staying separately due to a marital discord. As usual, Namrata had gone to school on Monday and upon returning in the evening she found the house locked. Her phone calls to Spandana went unanswered. Anxious mother alerted the neighbours who came to her rescue. They broke open the door and the woman was found murdered in her bedroom.
The police official added that there were severe injuries on the victim’s head and face. They have registered a case and are interrogating three suspected persons.
