Hyderabad: Two tech professionals, including a woman, sustained serious injuries when the car they were traveling in lost control and collided with a stationary truck near Movie Towers in Kokapet, Narsingi on February 19, 2025. The victims were reportedly returning from a party when the accident occurred.

According to the reports, the car crashed into the truck from behind, leaving both passengers with severe injuries. They were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police suspect the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol, as both passengers showed signs of intoxication even five hours after the incident.

A case has been registered by the Narsingi police, who are investigating the cause of the crash.

In a separate incident, two students were injured in a car accident near CBIT in Gandipet, Narsingi, on the same day.

The students’ vehicle collided with an advertising pillar while traveling from Narsingi to Shankarpally. Witnesses believe overspeeding contributed to the crash, which left the car’s front section completely crushed.

The two students, who sustained life-threatening injuries, were rushed to the hospital. Local residents helped transport the injured victims to safety while authorities continued to investigate the cause of the accident.

Fatal Accidents in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy

In a tragic turn of events, a 24-year-old man lost his life in a road accident on his birthday late Tuesday night at Malakpet. Mahesh Kumar, a vegetable vendor from Saidabad, was on his way to meet friends after celebrating with his family when the incident occurred. After receiving a phone call from a friend, Mahesh left home on his scooter to meet them.

Reports suggest Mahesh was riding at high speed when he lost control near the Officer’s Mess function hall, causing the scooter to skid and crash into an electric pole. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Mahesh was declared dead upon arrival. Police suspect speed may have been a factor in the accident.

In another fatal crash in Ranga Reddy, a student named Satwik was killed, and his companion was seriously injured after their motorcycle collided with a divider on the Kokapet Service Road on December 28, 2024. Overspeeding is believed to be the cause of the crash, which left Satwik dead at the scene. His companion remains in critical condition.
