Two injured in car collision with advertising pillar in Gandipet

Narsingi: Two students were injured in a car accident on February 19, 2025, when their vehicle collided with an advertising pillar near CBIT in Gandipet, Narsingi. The incident occurred while they were traveling from Narsingi towards Shankarpally.
According to the reports, the car’s front portion was completely crushed, and witnesses suggest that overspeeding may have contributed to the crash.
Both students were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Airbags had deployed in the vehicle. Local residents who saw the accident promptly helped the injured and assisted with transportation to the hospital. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
Two TGRTC Buses Catch Fire at Kushaiguda Depot
Two Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGRTC) buses caught fire on the evening of February 18, 2025, at the Kushaiguda bus depot. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.

Recent Fire Incidents in Hyderabad Raise Concern
A series of recent fire incidents in Hyderabad have raised concerns about public safety. On February 2, 2025, a major fire broke out in a building near Kishan Bagh X Roads in the Old City. The fire, which originated in the cellar, spread to the upper floors.

Another fire broke out at VVC Motors (Mahindra Motors) showroom in Kondapur, Ranga Reddy district. The fire caused extensive damage to several vehicles parked on the second floor of the showroom. Firefighters arrived quickly and brought the blaze under control. Seven cars were destroyed, but there were no casualties.
