Hyderabad: Lakshmideepika tops TSPSC Group 1 final list

HYDERABAD: Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) released the Group 1 final selection list at midnight on Wednesday. Out of 563 posts, 562 candidates were selected, while one post remains pending due to a court case. Lakshmideepika secured the top rank.

TSPSC chairman B Venkatesham announced the results and uploaded the list on the official website. Group 1 mains examinations were held from October 21 to 27 last year, with over 21,000 candidates appearing. The general ranking list was released in March, followed by four rounds of certificate verification.

Recently, a single bench of the High Court had stayed the recruitment process. TSPSC appealed, and a division bench lifted the stay on Wednesday, clearing the way for recruitment. The commission held an emergency meeting and decided to release the final list immediately, noting that Group 2 and Group 3 recruitments depend on Group 1 appointments.

The commission also published the multizone-wise allocation of posts. It clarified that all results are subject to final court judgments, and any candidate found to have submitted false information would be disqualified at any stage.
