Traffic diversions announced for Hazrat Ali death anniversary procession on March 21, 2025

Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory in connection with the procession for the death anniversary of Hazrat Ali on March 21, 2025. The procession will start at Charminar and end at Masjid-e-Imamia, with traffic diversions in place from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Key Diversions: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM: Traffic from Etabar Chowk, Ghansi Bazaar, and Nayapool will be diverted to alternative routes. 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM: Traffic from Tipu Khana Mosque, Purani Haveli, APAT Junction, SJ Rotary, Dabeerpura Darwaza, and Chaderghat will be diverted to alternative routes. Suggested Routes: Alternative routes are provided for commuters traveling during the diversion times. Important Information: The traffic restrictions apply to all vehicles. Traffic Diversions Announced For Hazrat Ali Death Anniversary Procession On March 21, 2025

Hyderabad: In connection with the death anniversary of Hazrat Ali, observed on March 21, 2025, the procession will begin at Charminar and conclude at Masjid-e-Imamia near Kali Kabar. The procession will follow the route via Charkaman, Gulzar House, Pather Gatti, Madina, Tipu Khana Masjid, Chatta Bazar, Lakkad Kote, Salama School, Purani Haveli, APAT Junction, Darushifa Grounds, and Abid Ali Khan Eye Hospital.

To facilitate the procession, traffic will be diverted in the area between Charminar and Kali Kabar, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The following diversions will be in place:

Diversion Details:
From 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Irani Galli Arman Café: Traffic coming from Etabar Chowk will be diverted towards Kotla Alijha/Hafiz Danka Masjid.
• Metti Ka Sheer/Gulzar House: Traffic from Ghansi Bazaar and Mitti Ke Sher will be diverted towards Sher E Batil Kaman, heading towards Ghansi Bazaar and High Court Road.
• Nayapool: Traffic from Nayapool will be halted at Nayapool until the procession passes through the Chatta Bazaar.

Suggested routes for commuters between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.: Commuters traveling towards Himathpura, Nagulachainta, or Chandrayangutta can take alternative routes via Madina, City College, Moosabowli, Chowk, Kilwath, and Salarjung Museum.

From 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

• Tipu Khana Mosque to Chatta Bazaar Turning: Traffic will be diverted from the by-lanes towards Chatta Bazaar until the procession reaches APAT Junction.
• Purani Haveli: Traffic from Purani Haveli will be diverted towards APAT and Miralam Mandi.
• APAT Junction: Vehicles coming from Purani Haveli will be redirected towards Ganga Nagar Nala, bypassing Chatta Bazaar and Mandi Mir Alam.
• SJ Rotary: Traffic from SJ Rotary will be diverted towards Shivaji Bridge, Salar Jung Museum, or Noorkhan Bazaar.
• Dabeerpura Darwaza: Traffic from Dabeerpura Railway Bridge will be diverted towards Success School and Ganganagar Nala.
• Chaderghat Rotary: Traffic from Chaderghat will be diverted towards Chaderghat Junction until the procession reaches the Masjid-e-Imamia.

Suggested routes for commuters between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.: Commuters coming from Shivaji Bridge heading towards Darulshifa and Etebarchowk are advised to take the route via Madina, Gulzar House, and Etebarchowk.

Traffic Advisory:

These traffic restrictions will apply to all vehicles, including TSRTC & APSRTC buses, private vehicles, and other public transport.
