Traffic advisory issued for President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to NALSAR University

Cyberabad: The Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the visit of the Honorable President of India, Droupadi Murmu, to NALSAR University as the Chief Guest for the 21st Convocation on September 28, 2024. Significant congestion is expected along specific routes during the designated hours in anticipation of the event.
Traffic will be affected from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. along the route starting from Hakimpet Y Junction, proceeding via NISA and the Telangana Sports School. Vehicles will encounter congestion at Thumuknta Y Junction, Bits Junction, Rotary, Orange Bowl, and Nalsar X Road, with a left turn onto Peddamma Colony and a right turn into the NALSAR University Auditorium at the Nalsar Main Gate.
The traffic disruption will continue in the afternoon, with affected routes from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning at the NALSAR University Auditorium. The route will proceed with a left turn at the Nalsar Main Gate, then through Peddamma Colony and Nalsar X Road, right toward Shamirpet Police Station, and continuing through Orange Bowl, Rotary, Bits Junction, and Thumuknta Y Junction, eventually leading to the Telangana Sports School and NISA, exiting via Hakimpet Y Junction into Hyderabad limits.
The general public is encouraged to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with Traffic Police to ensure a smooth flow of traffic during this significant event.
