Hyderabad: In light of the upcoming Intercontinental Cup 2024 Football Tournament, the Cyberabad police have issued a traffic advisory to manage the expected congestion. The tournament matches will be held at GMCB Stadium, Gachibowli, on September 3, 6, and 9, 2024. The games will feature India, Syria, and Mauritius, with kick-off times at 19:00 hours on each match day.

To ensure smooth traffic flow, please be aware of the following advisory for September 3, 6, and 9, 2024, from 16:00 to 22:00 hours:

1. For traffic coming from Gachibowli Junction to Lingampally:

• Vehicles are advised to take a left turn at GPRA Quarters, then a right turn at Gopichand Academy.

• Continue with a left turn at Infosys Wipro Junction, followed by a right turn at Gopanpally.

• Proceed via University Backside to reach Lingampally.

2. For traffic coming from Lingampally to Gachibowli Junction:

• Vehicles should take a left turn at HCU Depot, then proceed through Masjid Banda and Botanical Garden.

• Take a right turn towards Gachibowli.

The traffic advisory aims to minimise disruptions and facilitate a smooth flow of vehicles. The public is encouraged to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with traffic authorities to ensure an efficient traffic management system during the event.
