Telangana: Telangana MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy on Tuesday donated an Ashtalakshmi Chandravanka Kanthi, a necklace weighing 535 grams and valued at ₹60 lakh, to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.

The offering was made at the Ranganayakula Mandapam in the presence of Additional Executive Officer C H Venkayya Choudhary, who received the ornament on behalf of the temple authorities.
Ritual presentation follows temple tradition
Officials said the donation was part of the temple’s long-standing tradition of devotees offering ornaments and valuables to the presiding deity at Tirumala.
