HYDERABAD: Three students were injured in clashes between student organisations during a protest at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) campus. The incident, which took place on Friday, came to light on Tuesday after student organisations highlighted it on social media platforms.
According to reports, the clashes erupted from protests regarding the university’s General Body Meeting (GBM) and the scheduling of student union elections
ABVP students claimed that a PWD student supporting their cause was targeted, while the Fraternity Movement EFLU unit alleged that ABVP students assaulted their members. Student organisations criticised the police for not taking action despite their presence at the scene.
