Hyderabad: A fresh lineup of films and series has just landed across streaming platforms this week, offering a mix of true crime, action, horror, and drama. ZEE5, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Aha, and Etv Win each bring something new to the table. Daveed, iHostage, Logout, Khauf, Shanmukha, Tuk Tuk, and Oklahoma City Bombing: American Terror are among the latest titles now available to stream.
1. Daveed – ZEE5
Language: Malayalam | Genre: Action
Daveed is a Malayalam-language action film directed by Govind Vishnu and co-written with Deepu Rajeevan. Starring Antony Varghese, Lijomol Jose, Vijayaraghavan, Saiju Kurup, and Kichu Tellus, the film follows Ashiq Abu, a middle-aged bouncer who becomes entangled in a dangerous rivalry with Turkish boxer Sainul Akhmedov.
Produced by Aby Alex Abraham, Tom Joseph, Century Max John & Mary Productions, and Panorama Studios, the film began principal photography on June 24, 2024, across Thrissur, Ernakulam, and Kottayam. The music is composed by Justin Varghese. Daveed received generally positive reviews upon release.
2. iHostage – Netflix
Language: Dutch | Genre: Crime Thriller
iHostage is a Dutch crime thriller directed by Bobby Boermans, inspired by the 2022 Apple Store hostage situation in Amsterdam. The film alternates between the perspectives of the perpetrator, hostages, and emergency responders.
Written by Simon de Waal and produced by Horizon Film Amsterdam, the film features Soufiane Moussouli, Marcel Hensema, Loes Haverkort, Louis Talpe, Everon Jackson Hooi, and Thijs Boermans. It premiered globally on Netflix on April 18, 2025, following the release of its trailer on March 20.
3. Logout – ZEE5
Language: Hindi | Genre: Cyber Thriller
Directed by Amit Golani and written by Biswapati Sarkar, Logout is a cyber thriller exploring the psychological effects of digital fame. Babil Khan stars alongside Rasika Dugal, Gandharv Dewan, and Nimisha Nair.
Produced by Vipin Agnihotri, the film is available on ZEE5 starting April 18, 2025.
4. Khauf – Amazon Prime Video
Language: Hindi | Genre: Horror Series
Khauf is a horror series created by Smita Singh and directed by Pankaj Kumar and Surya Balakrishnan. Produced by Matchbox Shots, the cast includes Monika Panwar, Rajat Kapoor, Abhishek Chauhan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Shilpa Shukla.
The series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on April 18, 2025.
5. Oklahoma City Bombing: American Terror – Netflix
Language: English | Genre: Documentary
Directed by Greg Tillman, this documentary revisits the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history. Featuring Max Bennett and Michael Charles Jr., it is now streaming on Netflix.
6. Shanmukha – Aha
Language: Telugu | Genre: Crime Thriller
Shanmukha, a Telugu-language crime thriller co-written and directed by Shanmugam Sappani, stars Aadi Saikumar and Avika Gor. Initially released in theatres on March 21, 2025, the film is now available on Aha as of April 11.
7. Tuk Tuk – Etv Win
Language: Telugu | Genre: Drama
Directed by Supreeth Krishna and produced under Chitravahini Productions and RYG banners, Tuk Tuk stars Harsha Roshan, Kartikeya Dev, Nihal Kodati, and Saanvi Meghana. The film, which released in theatres on March 21, 2025, began streaming on Etv Win on April 10.
