TGSRTC to run special buses for Laldarwaza Bonalu in Hyderabad on Sunday

TGSRTC announces special bus service for Arunachalam Giri Pradhakshina

Hyderabad : As the city of Hyderabad celebrating the Ashada Bonalu, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation announced that it would run special services in the Greater Hyderabad zone on Sunday for the convenience of the devotees attending the festivities. On Sunday, Simha Vahini Sri Mahankali Ammavari bonalu would take place in Lal Darwaza area, where thousands of devotees would flock to the temple to offer their special prayers.

In an official note released by the TGSRTC, it said “In view of the Simha Vahini Sri Mahankali Lal Darwaza Bonalu on July 28, 2024, the Greater Hyderabad zone of the TGSRTC has made special arrangements for operation of special buses for the convenience of the devotees attending the Bonalu festival.”

Further, the TGSRTC has also provided the details of the operation of buses from various places of twin cities to Bonalu. As many as hundred buses are going to be run to the Lal Darwaza area for the festivities.

Various number of buses from multiple depots would run from Secunderabad Railway station, JBS, Jeedimetla, Patancheru, ECIL X Roads, Dilsukhnagar, Hayatnagar, Kykatpally, Risala Bazar, Cherlapally, Rajendra Nagar, Ram Nagar, Uppal Borabanda, Midhani, KPHB Colony, Old Bowenpally, Malkajgiri, Balaji Nagar. A total of 100 buses would run from these locations to Lal Darwaza.

Further, in case of any queries, the TGSRTC has also arranged a help desk with specific camp incharges who can guide the devotees to the temple. Meanwhile, for any queries related to the bus routes, the devotees can contact Rathifile Bus Station at 9959226154 and Koti bus stand at 9959226160.

Bonalu is one of the major and local festivals celebrated in the city of Hyderabad.
