TGSRTC invites applications for 198 supervisor posts
HYDERABAD: Applications are invited for 198 vacancies in the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board said in a press release on Thursday.
The recruitment is for Traffic Supervisor Trainee (85 posts) and Mechanical Supervisor Trainee (114 posts). The number of vacancies is tentative and may change without notice.
Pay scale, qualifications, fee
The pay scale for both posts ranges from ₹27,080 to ₹81,400.
Candidates applying for Traffic Supervisor Trainee must have a graduate degree. For Mechanical Supervisor Trainee, a diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is required.
Online applications will be available on the TSLPRB website from December 30 to January 20, between 8 am and 5 pm.
The application fee is ₹400 for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and local candidates of Telangana. Other candidates must pay ₹800.
Age eligibility and relaxations
Candidates aged 18 to 25 years are eligible to apply.
Age relaxation of five years is applicable for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections candidates. Ex-servicemen are eligible for relaxation of three years, in addition to the length of service rendered in the Armed Forces.
In-service employees of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation can apply and are eligible for age relaxation of up to 10 years, subject to a maximum age of 40 years as on July 1, 2025.
For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Class employees of TGSRTC, the relaxation extends to the number of years served in the corporation, subject to an upper age limit of 45 years as on July 1, 2025.
