Good News for Engineering Graduates: TGPSC Unveils 290 Vacancies

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has announced three recruitment notifications for 290 engineering vacancies across government departments, creating opportunities for civil, electrical, and environmental engineering graduates.
The vacancies include Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) posts in the Transport, Roads and Buildings (TR&B) Department and Assistant Environmental Engineer posts in the Telangana Pollution Control Board (TSPCB).
Vacancy details
The recruitment drive includes:
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil), TR&B Department – 222 posts
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical), TR&B Department – 49 posts
- Assistant Environmental Engineer, TSPCB – 19 posts
Application schedule
TGPSC will accept online applications for AEE (Civil) posts from June 6 to July 13, 2026, until 5 pm.
Similarly, candidates can apply for AEE (Electrical) posts between June 8 and July 15, 2026.
Meanwhile, applications for Assistant Environmental Engineer posts will remain open from June 10 to July 17, 2026, until 5 pm.
Furthermore, TGPSC has tentatively scheduled the written examinations for September and October.
Eligibility and pay scale
Candidates must be between 18 and 44 years of age as of July 1, 2026. Notably, the Commission has raised the upper age limit from 34 years to 44 years.
In addition, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised university. Depending on the post, eligible branches include Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Environmental Engineering.
Selected candidates will receive a pay scale ranging from ₹54,220 to ₹1,33,630.
Online application process
Candidates can submit applications only through the official TGPSC website.
Before applying, applicants must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process or update their existing OTR details. Moreover, TGPSC has advised candidates to finish the registration process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Selection process
TGPSC will select candidates through an objective-type written examination. The Commission may conduct the test either as an OMR-based offline examination or as a Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT).
Additionally, TGPSC will apply a normalisation formula if it conducts the examination in multiple sessions.
