TG SAFE, police conduct food safety raids at Hyderabad cafes
HYDERABAD: The Enforcement Wing of the Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE), along with Food Safety Officers and police personnel, is conducting inspections at cafes in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The inspections are part of the food safety enforcement drive being carried out by TG SAFE in the city. Recent inspections by the authority at restaurants and food establishments in Hyderabad have detected violations relating to hygiene, food storage, labelling and expired food articles.
Officials have previously collected food samples for laboratory analysis and issued improvement and show-cause notices to establishments where violations were detected.
