TG EAPCET Forms See Stream Errors

HYDERABAD: Confusion has marked the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2026 application process, with several students opting for the wrong stream.
Officials said BiPC students, who should apply for the agriculture and pharmacy stream, have mistakenly selected engineering in their applications. So far, 11 BiPC candidates have made this error.
Similarly, seven MPC students applied for agriculture and pharmacy instead of engineering.
TG EAPCET convener Dr K. Vijay Kumar Reddy expressed concern over the repeated mistakes. “Despite repeated instructions, candidates continue to make errors,” he said, urging students to carefully enter their personal details.
He said 52 applications received so far contain spelling mistakes. Errors were also found in entries related to candidates’ names, date of birth, mobile numbers, email IDs and reservation categories.
Applications cross 10,000 mark
The application process for TG EAPCET-2026 began in the state this week. By 6 pm on Friday, a total of 10,924 applications had been received, Dr Reddy said.
Of these, 6,800 candidates applied for the engineering stream, while 4,111 opted for agriculture and pharmacy. Thirteen candidates applied for both streams.
The convener advised students to verify all details in the preview section before clicking ‘final submit’, warning that errors could cause problems during hall ticket issuance.
