Telangana’s Praja Bhavan gets bomb threat, police on high alert

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad police have been put on high alert following a bomb threat received from an unidentified individual at Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Upon receiving this alarming information, the police swiftly mobilised, reaching the location accompanied by the highly trained bomb squad team. They immediately initiated thorough searches within Praja Bhavan premises.

Simultaneously, efforts are underway to locate the unknown individual who reported the bomb threat.
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who currently resides at Praja Bhavan, is presently in Punjab for an election campaign.
Earlier, Praja Bhavan, formerly known as Pragathi Bhawan, was the residence of the former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS chief. Further details are awaited.
