Hero Nani to Chaitanya, here are the actors who casted their votes in Hyderabad

Jubilee Hills: The election day has become more vibrant with several Tollywood celebrities flocking to their respective polling booths to exercise their power of voting. Telangana is going for the Parliamentary elections on May 13 to elect its candidates for the Lok Sabha constituencies.

Some of the celebrities who casted their votes include, actor Chaitanya Akkineni casted his vote at Women’s college in Jubilee Hills, actor Nani along with his wife Anjana casted vote in Jubilee Hills, actor Sandeep Kishan at Venkateshwara College in Madhapur, Producer Abhishek casted his vote in Banjara hills, actor Sudheer Babu casted vote along with his wife Priya Darshini at a Government primary school in Raidurgam, actor Sai Sreenivas along with his parents full filled the civic duty in Jubilee Hills, director, Prashanth Varma casted vote as well.

Meanwhile, senior actors, Kota Sreenivasa Rao and Rajendra Prasad also casted their votes in their respective polling stations.

Some actors have also casted votes in Andhra Pradesh, some of them include, Ashok Galla along with his father Jaya Dev Galla casted votes in Andhra. Earlier in the day, top actors like Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun among others along with their family members visited the polling stations and casted their votes.

Celebrities appeal voters to come out and vote

While celebrities are coming out to vote, they are also appealing the voters to come out in large numbers to vote. The Hyderabad city is faring poorly in terms of voting percentage, as it was recorded a lowest ten percent at around 11am in the morning. While the rural areas are reporting better voting percentages, the city which has more of an educated population is lagging behind.

This time, an intense electoral fight is taking place in the state of Telangana between various political parties, including the Indian National Congress (INC), Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) among others in the race.
