Heatwave conditions intensify in Telangana; thunderstorms forecast in parts

HYDERABAD: Telangana is set to witness very hot weather conditions, with temperatures in northern and eastern districts expected to reach 40–41°C, according to the latest forecast.
Hyderabad city is likely to record slightly lower temperatures, ranging between 38–39°C. The rising heat is expected to persist through the day, contributing to uncomfortable conditions across several regions.
Thunderstorm activity predicted in select districts
Scattered intense thunderstorms are forecast in parts of Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Nagarkurnool and Nalgonda districts. These areas may witness sudden weather changes, including gusty winds and rainfall.
Hyderabad is also likely to experience an isolated thunderstorm towards the evening or night, offering brief relief from the heat.
Isolated rain or dry conditions elsewhere
Other districts are expected to remain largely dry, with only isolated rainfall activity predicted. Most regions will continue to face hot and dry weather through the day.
The forecast indicates a mixed weather pattern across the state, with heatwave conditions dominating even as limited thunderstorm activity develops in select pockets.
