Scattered rain likely across Telangana as low-pressure area moves away

HYDERABAD: With the low-pressure area (LPA) moving away from the region, rainfall activity is expected to weaken across Telangana on July 6, with only scattered showers forecast in most parts of the state.
However, northern and western districts are likely to receive scattered light to moderate rain. These include Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Medak, Kamareddy, Siddipet, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal and Jagtial.
In contrast, Hyderabad and the remaining districts are expected to witness only isolated to scattered passing showers through the day.
While widespread rainfall is unlikely, brief spells of rain may occur at a few places, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours.
