Telangana, Victoria discuss roadmap to strengthen trade and technology ties
HYDERABAD: Telangana and Australia’s Victoria state have agreed to strengthen cooperation across trade, technology, startups, education, skill development and advanced manufacturing during a meeting between Victoria Legislative Council Government Whip Lee Tarlamis and IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at the Telangana Secretariat.
Focus on technology, startups and creative industries
The discussions covered collaboration in gaming, visual effects (VFX), animation and the entertainment sector, along with opportunities to expand partnerships in innovation-driven industries.
Sridhar Babu highlighted Telangana’s investor-friendly ecosystem and invited businesses from Victoria to explore investment opportunities in the state.
Victoria keen on long-term partnership
Lee Tarlamis said Victoria was keen to build a long-term partnership with Telangana and develop a joint roadmap to deepen cooperation across identified sectors.
Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju was also present during the meeting.
