Telangana, Victoria explore partnership in trade, technology and innovation

HYDERABAD: Telangana is set to deepen its engagement with Australia‘s state of Victoria after talks on expanding cooperation in trade, technology, education and advanced industries.
Victoria Legislative Council Government Whip Lee Tarlamis met IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at the Telangana Secretariat. They discussed collaboration in trade, technology, startups, education, skill development, advanced manufacturing, gaming, visual effects (VFX), animation and entertainment.
Sridhar Babu highlighted Telangana’s investor-friendly ecosystem and invited Victoria-based companies to invest in the state. He said Telangana continues to focus on innovation, industrial growth and ease of doing business.
Lee Tarlamis said Victoria wants to build a long-term partnership with Telangana. He also proposed a joint roadmap to strengthen cooperation across the identified sectors.
Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju also attended the meeting.
