Unemployed JAC visits Venu Kumar hospitalised in Khammam
HYDERABAD: Leaders from the Telangana Unemployed JAC visited Venu Kumar, who allegedly attempted suicide after writing a letter to Congress leaders Revanth Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, and Rahul GandhiIn the letter, Venu said he was very upset that the party did not keep its promise to give out job notifications in Telangana.
Venu Kumar was upset because there were no job notifications. He also felt pressure because his parents are getting older and he could not support them. This led him to try to end his life. His actions made unemployed youth organizations very worried and angry.
Bhukya Kumar, who is the leader of the Unemployed JAC and the Telangana B.Ed. Candidates’ Association, went to visit Venu Kumar at Prashanthi Hospital in Khammam. He wanted to comfort him and show support.
Talking to the media, Bhukya Kumar said he was very worried about more unemployed young people dying by suicide in the state. He said that since the Congress government started in Telangana, no job notifications have been released. He also shared that 18 unemployed people have killed themselves since then.
The JAC Chairman said that the Congress party has broken promises before. He talked about how former Union Minister P. Chidambaram took back his words about making Telangana a state. After that, 1,200 students died by suicide.
He also criticized the party for not giving out notifications for two lakh jobs in the first year, as promised. He accused Congress of caring more about politics than about students and unemployed young people.
Bhukya Kumar said he was very disappointed. The government said there would be 200,000 job openings in many areas, like Mega DSC with 30,000 jobs, Gurukula, Model Schools, GPO, Group services, SI, and PC jobs. But until now, only 7,000 job notifications have been released. He asked the government to increase the number of job notifications to match what was promised to young people.
More and more unemployed young people are feeling upset and worried. Leaders want the government to act fast and start releasing job notifications to stop any more tragedies.
