Telangana Tourism Bags Best Design, Best Decoration Awards at TTF
HYDERABAD: Telangana Tourism won the Best Design and Best Decoration awards at the three-day Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) in Gandhinagar.
The fair was held from August 6 to 8 at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre. S Prabhakar, District Tourism Officer for Hyderabad and Rangareddy, received the awards on behalf of Telangana Tourism.
TTF brought together tourism boards, travel companies, hospitality brands, airlines, destination management companies and travel technology firms from India and abroad.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the business-to-business exhibition on August 6. According to the organiser, the 2026 edition featured more than 900 exhibitors.
Telangana pavilion wins recognition
The awards recognised Telangana Tourism’s pavilion design and overall decoration. The pavilion showcased the state’s tourism destinations and offerings to visitors and travel industry representatives.
The Telangana tourism team said the fair featured participants from two countries and 18 states. It also had around 1,300 stalls and nearly 16,000 participants, including domestic and international tour operators and travel agents.
Meanwhile, the organiser described the Gandhinagar edition as a major B2B travel marketplace for western India. The event also provided tourism stakeholders with opportunities to promote their destinations and build industry connections.
