Thunderstorms, intense rain likely in north Telangana districts over next two hours
HYDERABAD: Scattered intense rain and thunderstorms are likely in parts of north Telangana over the next two hours, according to a weather update issued at 16.15 IST on June 12.
The districts expected to witness intense rainfall and thunderstorm activity include Adilabad, Nirmal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Siddipet district’s Husnabad area, and parts of Karimnagar.
Heavy rain threat across northern districts
The weather update indicated that thunderstorm activity could intensify in these districts, with short-duration heavy rain and gusty conditions possible in isolated locations.
Residents have been advised to remain alert to rapidly changing weather conditions and exercise caution while travelling during the period of thunderstorm activity.
Isolated showers forecast elsewhere
Isolated rain is also likely over parts of Nalgonda, Suryapet, Hanumakonda and Jangaon districts during the next two hours.
Weather conditions are expected to remain dynamic, with localised variations in rainfall intensity across the affected districts.
