Telangana to Release TG EAPCET Notification on February 14
HYDERABAD: The notification for the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) will be released on February 14. Online applications will be accepted from February 19.
Officials have completed preparations regarding examination centres and syllabus. Students appearing for the Intermediate second-year examinations are eligible to apply. Authorities will retrieve candidate data using Intermediate hall ticket numbers.
SET Convener Vijay Kumar Reddy held discussions with Intermediate Board officials on Wednesday. He requested that hall ticket data be uploaded online in view of the notification.
Officials said special care is being taken to allot examination centres close to girls’ residences this year. Candidates who apply early may be given priority in centre allocation.
For the first time, students will be able to view their marks immediately after logging out of the computer-based test. This will help them estimate their likely rank.
Authorities will also make previous years’ cut-off details of various colleges available. During counselling, candidates can select colleges based on their rank, which will be given priority in seat allotment.
