Mulugu tops with 99.30% pass rate, Hyderabad at bottom

Telangana opens e-Pass portal for 2025-26 scholarship registrations for students, colleges

HYDERABAD: Mulugu district recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.30% in the Telangana SSC 2026 results among regular candidates, while Hyderabad district reported the lowest at 90.58%, according to official data released under Rc. No. 55/J-1/2026.

The data shows a consistent trend of girls outperforming boys in most districts. The overall pass percentage stood at 95.15%, with boys recording 94.07% and girls 96.26%.

Top-performing districts led by Mulugu and Nagarkurnool

Mulugu topped the list with 3,264 students passing out of 3,287 who appeared, achieving 99.30%. Nagarkurnool followed with 99.03%, where 10,538 students cleared the exam out of 10,641.

Nirmal secured 98.96%, while Jagtial recorded 98.87%. Mahabubabad (98.81%) and Sangareddy (98.69%) also featured among the top-performing districts.

Suryapet, Karimnagar, and Hanumakonda reported pass percentages of 98.60%, 98.57%, and 98.56%, respectively. Nalgonda stood at 98.47%.

Mid-tier districts maintain above 97% performance levels

Several districts recorded pass percentages between 97% and 98%. Jayashankar Bhupalapally reported 98.36%, followed by Yadadri Bhongir at 98.30%.

Siddipet (97.85%), Narayanpet (97.82%), and Rajanna Sircilla (97.74%) continued the trend of strong performance. Peddapalli, Jangaon, and Kamareddy recorded 97.70%, 97.66%, and 97.47%, respectively.

Wanaparthy and Mancherial reported 97.46% and 97.20%, while Adilabad stood at 96.90%.

Lower-performing districts include Hyderabad, Rangareddy, and Vikarabad

Medak recorded 96.63%, followed by Warangal at 95.25%. Medchal reported 95.24%, while Khammam stood at 95.12%.

Mahabubnagar recorded 94.57%, and Nizamabad stood at 94.24%. Komaram Bheem Asifabad and Jogulamba Gadwal reported 94.16% and 93.93%, respectively.

Rangareddy recorded 92.96%, while Vikarabad and Bhadradri Kothagudem reported 91.25% and 89.23%.

Hyderabad district recorded the lowest pass percentage at 90.58%, with 66,115 students passing out of 74,099 who appeared.

Statewide performance reflects high success rate

Across Telangana, 5,16,815 students appeared for the examination. Of them, 4,91,774 students passed.

The data indicates a strong overall performance, with most districts maintaining pass percentages above 90%, and several exceeding 98%.
