Telangana government launches ‘Rising Vision 2047’ citizen survey

HYDERABAD: The Telangana government has launched the Telangana Rising Vision 2047 initiative to create a long-term roadmap guiding the State’s journey towards a prosperous, inclusive and sustainable future by 2047, coinciding with India’s centenary of independence.
The initiative aims to define the State’s development priorities across key sectors including economic growth, skilling and employment, women empowerment, farmer welfare, innovation, sustainability, and quality of life.
People at the centre of the vision
At the core of Telangana Rising Vision 2047 are the people themselves. The State government has emphasised that the vision will be shaped by citizens’ voices from every district, town, and village.
To ensure wide participation, the government has rolled out the Telangana Rising Vision 2047 Citizen Survey, which will remain open from October 10 to October 25. Citizens can share their ideas and aspirations for how they envision the State by 2047.
Call for citizen participation
Speaking on the initiative, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, said: “Telangana Rising Vision 2047 is not just a policy document it is a collective dream of our people. The citizens of Telangana are the true architects of the State’s future. We urge everyone to take a few minutes to share their ideas through the Citizen Survey and become part of this historic visioning exercise.”
The survey encourages participation from all sections including youth, farmers, women, entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and senior citizens.
Residents can share their suggestions through the official portal.
