Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy arrives in Zurich for WEF Davos 2026

HYDERABAD: A ‘Telangana Rising’ delegation led by chief minister A. Revanth Reddy arrived in Zurich, Switzerland, on Monday to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 at Davos. Members of the Telangana diaspora accorded the delegation a warm reception at Zurich Airport.

The chief minister was accompanied by revenue and housing minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, who also holds the information and public relations portfolio, and senior officials. IT, electronics and communications, industries and commerce, and legislative affairs minister D. Sridhar Babu has already reached Davos.

On the first day of the WEF meeting, the delegation is scheduled to hold meetings with several industrialists. It will also host top executives and representatives of leading global companies across sectors at a special, invite-only programme aimed at promoting the Telangana Rising 2047 roadmap.

At Davos 2026, the Telangana delegation will focus on presenting the state’s long-term growth strategy, policy framework and investor-friendly ecosystem to global leaders, chief executive officers and industry representatives. The outreach is positioned in the context of the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document launched in December 2025.
