Telangana to see moderate to heavy rain in several districts
HYDERABAD: West, central and east Telangana are likely to receive widespread moderate to heavy rain on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Border districts may see heavy rain
The Chhattisgarh–East Telangana border belt may receive moderate to heavy rain. The affected districts include Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar, Mulugu and Bhadradri.
Rain to increase over west Telangana
Rain activity may pick up across west and central Telangana, mainly at night. Several areas could see moderate to heavy spells.
Hyderabad may see heavy spell at night
Hyderabad may remain mostly dry until the afternoon. Passing showers are likely during the afternoon and evening.
Some parts of the city could receive a moderate to heavy spell at night.
