Telangana to receive rain, gusty winds over next four days

HYDERABAD: The India Meteorological Department said Telangana is likely to receive light to moderate rain over the next four days. Strong gusty winds are also expected during this period.
Officials said minimum temperatures may remain low and stay two to three degrees below normal due to the impact of a surface circulation and trough.
Thunderstorms and lightning likely until end of March
The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre said similar conditions may continue till the end of March, with rain accompanied by strong winds, thunder and lightning at several places.
Unseasonal showers may affect farmers’ activities in state
It said temperatures may rise further from the first week of April. Officials cautioned that unseasonal rain could affect farmers and advised them to remain alert.
