Telangana braces for rain, gusty winds today
HYDERABAD: The India Meteorological Department said rain is likely to continue across Telangana over the next 24 hours. A surface circulation over the west-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining north coastal Andhra Pradesh is influencing the weather.

The system, extending up to 3.1 km above mean sea level, is expected to bring light to moderate rain in several parts of the state. Officials said strong winds may accompany the showers in some areas.
Thunderstorms expected; farmers advised caution in fields
Thunderstorms with lightning are likely at isolated places over the next two days. The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre advised farmers to take precautions while working in fields and to secure harvested produce.
Temperatures across Telangana are likely to remain 2–3°C below normal due to the prevailing weather conditions, officials added.
