HYDERABAD: The Telangana Open School Education Society (TOSS) on Saturday announced the results of the SSC and Intermediate Public Examinations 2026, recording a significant improvement in pass percentages in both categories.

A total of 36,863 candidates appeared for the SSC examinations, of whom 26,542 passed, registering a pass percentage of 72. In the Intermediate examinations, 54,679 learners appeared and 37,562 cleared the exams, taking the pass percentage to 68.70.

The results were released by School Education Director Dr E Naveen Nicolas, TOSS Director PV Srihari and TOSS Joint Director Somi Reddy.

Pass percentages improve across both streams

The SSC pass percentage increased from 57.60 in the previous examination cycle to 72 this year. The Intermediate pass percentage also rose from 59.77 to 68.70.

The results have been made available on the TOSS website.

Dr Nicolas said the department was working on plans to provide TOSS certificates through MeeSeva centres across the state.

Special classes credited for better performance

Dr Nicolas said the School Education Department was focusing on ensuring that Class X and Intermediate students in government schools and government junior colleges clear public examinations.

“This time, we conducted special classes for all students who could not clear the exams. We also ensured that all students paid the examination fee and appeared for the exams,” he said.

Candidates can download their web memorandum of marks, indicating pass or fail status, from the TOSS website from June 4.

Any discrepancies in the memoranda should be reported to TOSS through the District Educational Officer (DEO), headmaster or the Accredited Institution (AI) concerned on or before June 15.
