Telangana plans ₹10 crore NRI Bhavan, invites NRIs to boost tourism
HYDERABAD: The Telangana government is working to establish an NRI Bhavan in Hyderabad at an estimated cost of ₹10 crore to provide multiple services to visiting Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) under one roof, Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said.
Minister urges NRIs to promote Telangana abroad
The minister called upon NRIs to play a greater role in promoting Telangana as a tourism destination by introducing the state’s tourist attractions to their friends, colleagues and associates abroad.
He said the diaspora could help enhance the state’s global visibility by encouraging international visitors to explore Telangana’s cultural and heritage destinations.
ATA, NRI groups invited to adopt heritage sites
Jupally Krishna Rao also invited the American Telugu Association (ATA) and other NRI organisations to adopt tourist destinations and heritage sites across the state.
He urged them to contribute to the conservation, restoration and development of these sites in partnership with the government.
