HYDERABAD: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) on Monday issued the first-phase web counselling notification for admission into MBBS courses under the convenor quota in government and private medical colleges across Telangana for the 2025–26 academic year.

Candidates whose names figure in the final merit list can exercise web options from 06.00 IST on September 16 until 23.30 IST on September 18 through the website https://tsmedadm.tsche.in.

Seats across government and private colleges

The counselling covers 35 government medical colleges, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) college, private unaided colleges, and minority and non-minority institutions. Admissions to Chalmeda Anand Rao Medical College in Karimnagar will depend on the final orders of the High Court, the university said.

The university clarified that candidates who do not participate in the first round will not be eligible for subsequent phases. Similarly, those allotted a seat but failing to join will not be considered in later rounds. Convenor quota seats in Muslim minority medical colleges will be allotted only to Muslim minority candidates.
