HYDERABAD: Telangana man buys Splendor Plus with ₹10 coins after saving them for nearly five years. Konde Raghupati, a resident of Veliminedu village in Chityala mandal of Nalgonda district, paid the full ₹1,10,000 price of the motorcycle using only ₹10 coins, surprising staff at the dealership.
Konde Raghupati, a resident of Veliminedu village in Chityala mandal, purchased the motorcycle from Sri Vinayaka Motors after his old Splendor Plus stopped working.
Instead of opting for a loan or an equated monthly instalment (EMI), Raghupati paid the full amount using the coins he had accumulated over several years. The unusual payment drew the attention of customers and showroom staff.
Savings turned into a dream purchase
According to the dealership, staff spent nearly two hours counting the ₹10 coins before completing the transaction and handing over the motorcycle. Employees said it was the first time they had handled such a payment.
Raghupati said he was happy to buy his favourite motorcycle entirely with his savings, without taking an EMI.

The transaction has since attracted widespread attention on social media, with many praising Raghupati’s discipline in saving money over the years to fulfil his goal of buying a new motorcycle.
