Telangana Transfers Several IFS Officers, Issues Fresh Postings Across Forest Department
HYDERABAD: The Telangana Government has reshuffled several Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers and issued fresh postings across the Forest Department with immediate effect.
The General Administration (Special-B) Department issued two separate government orders on June 29, 2026, as part of the administrative exercise.
Under G.O.Rt.No.932, the government approved transfers based on a proposal submitted by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force), Telangana.
V.S.N.V. Prasad, who was awaiting posting, will now serve as Conservator of Forests (P&V) in the office of the PCCF (HoFF), Telangana, Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, G. Kista Goud moved from District Forest Officer (DFO), Bhadradri Kothagudem, to DFO, Jayashankar Bhupalapally.
Similarly, Shiv Aasheesh Singh took charge as DFO, Rangareddy. At the same time, Sidharth Vikram Singh shifted from Nizamabad to Bhadradri Kothagudem as DFO.
The government also transferred Mandadi Naveen Reddy to Mahabubnagar as DFO. In addition, Prashanth Baji Rao Patil will serve as DFO, Nizamabad.
Further, Chinna Vishwanath Bhusaraddi, Forest Divisional Officer, Adilabad, will hold the full additional charge of District Forest Officer, Adilabad.
Promotions and cadre-level postings
In another order, G.O.Rt.No.925, the government announced additional transfers following promotions to the IFS cadre.
Bhukya Lavanya moved from Hanamkonda & Jangaon to Mahabubabad as DFO.
Likewise, Vishal Battula assumed charge as DFO, Vikarabad.
On promotion, G. Mukund Reddy became DFO, Hanamkonda & Jangaon, while S. Rajasekhar took charge as DFO, Nalgonda.
Additionally, the government posted other newly inducted IFS officers to the Telangana Forest Academy, Medak, and several forest divisions. However, it retained some officers in their existing positions.
Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao issued both orders in the name of the Governor of Telangana.
