Brace yourself, IMD issues heavy rainfall warning in Telangana for next two days

Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department(IMD) has issued a yellow warning for the state of Telangana and predicted a heavy rainfall in the next two days in several parts of the state. IMD had released a mid-day forecast for the upcoming seven days and issued a warning and forecast in connection with the weather change. Meanwhile, a yellow warning was issued for Hyderabad city on July 9, 2024. The change in the weather is due to the circulation in the Bay of Bengal on the southern Andhra Pradesh coast.
The rains are likely to begin in a light to moderate tone today, i,e on July 7, 2024 and would continue for the next seven days. However, in the next few days, one has to brace for heavy rainfall.
As per the weather forecast and warnings issued by the IMD for July 7, it read, “Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds very likely to occur at isolated places in Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Ranga Reddy Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal districts of Telangana.”

Heavy rains for two days
Meanwhile in the next two days, heavy rain is predicted, “Heavy rain very likely to occur at isolated places in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool districts of Telangana. Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (30-40kmph) are very likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of Telangana.” Similar warning was also issued on the next day, i.e., for the July 9, 2024 as well
However, by July 10 to July 12, 2024, the heavy rains are likely to subside and the state might receive light to moderate rain or thundershowers. “Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagiral, Rajanna Sircilla, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, MEdak, Kamarddy districts of Telangana”
