Step-by-Step Guide for LRS Payment Online in Telangana

Hyderabad: The March 31 deadline to avail the 25 per cent rebate on the regularisation charges and pro-rata open space charges for the applicants of the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) is fast approaching.

Nearly 20 lakh applications across the State have been pending for over four years under the LRS of 2020. The applications are likely to be cleared following the fee payment and the necessary formalities have been fulfilled.

Under the LRS, 25 lakh applications have been received by the department. Out of these 2.5 lakh applications were for plots in the prohibited lands list, according to reports.

Authorities are encouraging the applicants to avail of the rebate by paying before the March-end. The officials are also holding meetings with the citizens, and layout developers, and information boards are being placed at the layout locations towards spreading awareness. The officials are proceeding with the registration process only for clear and undisputed plots.
