Telangana issues notification for Gaddar Film Awards 2025
HYDERABAD: The Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited (TFDC) has issued a notification to organise the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards (TGFA) 2025 for films certified between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
Wide range of categories notified
Entries have been invited from film producers and government agencies worldwide for Telugu language films across several categories. These include feature films, debut feature films, films on national integration, environment, heritage and history, social message films, wholesome entertainment, animation, special effects, children’s films, documentaries, short films, and individual awards for artists and technicians. Awards will also be given for books and critical articles on Telugu cinema, as well as feature films in the Urdu language.
Entry process and key dates announced
As per G.O. Rt. No. 77 issued by the General Administration (Information and Public Relations) Department on January 19, 2026, entry forms and detailed rules can be obtained from TFDC from January 21, 2026, on payment of ₹5,900, inclusive of 18% GST. The amount must be paid through Demand Draft or UPI in favour of the Managing Director, Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited, payable at Hyderabad.
The last date for sale of entry forms is January 31, 2026, up to 3 pm. Completed entry forms along with all required documents must be submitted by February 3, 2026, up to 3 pm, at the office of the Managing Director, TFDC, Hyderabad.
