Telangana flags off first UK export shipments under India-UK CETA
HYDERABAD: Sweets and grains took centre stage as Telangana flagged off its first major export consignments to the United Kingdom under the India-UK Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement(CETA).
Going into further details, Telangana held ceremonies across Hyderabad and Nizamabad to mark the export of consignments to the United Kingdom under the India-UK Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA).
The main event happened at 10 AM at ICD Sanathnagar, Hyderabad. Companies sent shipments of sweets and snacks from Ravi Foods, Ashritha Exports and Imports, Shree Gajanan Industries, and Prayagh Consumer Care. The total value was USD 176,722. Officials from the Telangana government, the Foreign Trade office, the Visakhapatnam SEZ Authority, and APEDA flagged off the consignment.
Meanwhile, at the Frumar Agri Foods factory in Hyderabad, officials flagged off a rice consignment worth USD 37,594 at 10 AM. Representatives from the Foreign Trade office and APEDA attended the ceremony.
In Nizamabad, a third ceremony took place at 11 AM at Shree Gajanan Industries. They sent a rice consignment worth USD 17,803. The Collector of Nizamabad, an APEDA manager, and a Spices Board representative attended the event.
