Telangana invites public suggestions on Draft CURE Bill 2026

CURE Bill proposes deemed building approvals, higher property tax and expanded civic services

HYDERABAD: The Telangana government has released the Draft Core Urban Region (Integrated Governance) Bill, 2026 (CURE Bill) for public consultation and invited suggestions from citizens and stakeholders.

The government has asked citizens, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), industry bodies, professionals and other stakeholders to review the draft legislation and share their feedback.

How to submit suggestions

People can submit their suggestions through the official CMC portal until July 24, 2026.

The government said public feedback will help improve the proposed law and create a more effective, transparent and citizen-centric governance framework for the Core Urban Region.

The draft Bill and the online feedback portal are available on the official website of the Chief Minister’s Centre for Municipal Coordination (CMC).
