Telangana govt announces Bathukamma and Dasara holidays
Hyderabad: The Telangana School Education department has declared Dasara holidays for educational institutions in the state on Thursday. The schools and colleges will remain closed from October 2 to October 14 and the educational institutions will resume classes from October 15, Tuesday.
The long vacation will commence with Gandhi Jayanthi on October 2, Wednesday. The holidays for Bathukamma and Dasara festivals will begin from October 3 and end on October 14. As per reports, some schools have announced holidays from October 1. Previous year also the state government had announced 13-day Dasara vacations.
According to the academic calendar for the year 2024-25, Christmas vacation for all missionary schools will be five days from December 23 to December 27 and the Sankranthi holidays will be for five days, January 13 to January 17, 2025.
