HYDERABAD: Telangana continues to face a sharp drop in temperatures as dense fog and cold winds persist across the state for the seventh consecutive day.

Morning fog disrupts traffic across districts

Several districts, including Komaram Bheem Asifabad and Adilabad, reported temperatures around six degrees Celsius. Motorists struggled with poor visibility, with fog persisting until nearly 8am. Residents said headlights were necessary even after sunrise, slowing movement on key routes.

Hyderabad shivers under prolonged cold winds

Hyderabad remained gripped by cold winds through the morning and evening hours. Localities across the city saw fewer people stepping outdoors as temperatures dipped further overnight.

Doctors advised residents particularly children, elderly people and those with respiratory conditions to take precautions, including warm clothing and limited early-morning exposure.
