Hyderabad: Telangana government announced that the Group-1, 2, and 3 posts will be filled within the next 30-40 days.

Speaking at Koluvula Panduga held at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad on Thursday, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the Congress government will soon touch the one lakh mark of appointments in government jobs.
The Chief Minister said, the state government has provided 59,000 jobs in just 15 months, fulfilling the aspirations of the unemployed youth in Telangana.

Out of the 59,000 posts filled during the Congress government, 15,526 posts were filled in the Home department, 10,209 posts were in the Education department, 7,517 posts were in the Medical and Health department and the BC Welfare department saw the recruitment of 5,578 posts.

“What we achieved in ten months, the previous rulers couldn’t do in ten years,” Chief Minister Revanth Reddy remarked.

The Revanth Reddy government has sanctioned 30,228 new posts in various departments. Of these, 2,711 posts belonging to Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3 are expected to be filled soon. The state government will also issue a notification to appoint teacher and helper posts in Anganwadis and also village level officers.

On this occasion, Revanth Reddy handed over the appointment letters to 922 candidates under compassionate appointments in the Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Municipal Administration departments.

Criticising the previous BRS regime for allegedly delaying in issuing the appointment letters, the Chief Minister said that compassionate appointments are the right of those eligible.

“You have lost ten years because the previous government neglected compassionate appointments. We are now fulfilling that responsibility to ensure such negligence never happens again,” he said.

The Chief Minister also congratulated the 922 candidates who received appointment letters. He asserted that filling these posts was crucial as part of his administration’s dedication to public welfare.
