Telangana government appoints three MLAs as Assembly whips
HYDERABAD:Â The Government of Telangana has issued G.O. Ms. No. 42 dated March 18, 2026, appointing three Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) as Government Whips in the Telangana Legislative Assembly.
The order stated that Chinthakunta Vijaya Ramana Rao, Yennam Srinivas Reddy and Vemula Veeresham have been appointed to the posts with immediate effect from March 18, 2026.
The notification, issued by the General Administration (Services and Reforms) Department, will be published in an extraordinary issue of the Telangana Gazette.
The appointments were made in the name of the Governor of Telangana, as per the official order signed by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao.
The Government said the move is part of administrative arrangements in the Assembly.
