Telangana ACB raids properties linked to Transco DE in disproportionate assets probe
HYDERABAD: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday launched searches at the residences and other properties linked to Telangana Transco Deputy Executive Engineer (DE) Muthyam Venkataramana in a disproportionate assets case.
The ACB deployed eight teams to raid 15 locations after receiving allegations that the officer had amassed assets beyond his known sources of income.
Officials continued the searches at multiple locations when this report was filed.
The ACB will release more details after the raids conclude. Officials will first assess the seized materials.
