Telangana ACB sleuths conduct searches at RTA offices across state
Hyderabad: In an interesting move to crack down on widespread corruption, Telangana’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted extensive searches at Road Transport Authority (RTA) offices and check posts across the state on Tuesday.
Posing as lorry drivers, the ACB officials led by Director General CV Anand aimed to expose the deep-rooted bribery and malpractices within the Road Transport Authority (RTA).

The covert operation led to the questioning of several agents and RTA officials who were allegedly involved in taking bribes for vehicle registration and other related services. A significant amount of cash was seized during the raids at multiple locations, further underscoring the extent of the corruption.
This surprise move has sent shockwaves through the RTA, known for its bureaucratic red tape and alleged corruption.
