Suspended Telangana DSP Bheem Reddy arrested in disproportionate assets case
HYDERABAD: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested suspended Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bheem Reddy in a disproportionate assets case, days after conducting extensive searches at his residences, office and other premises linked to him.
The arrest follows scrutiny of documents and other evidence collected during the raids, according to the ACB.
The agency had earlier said the searches uncovered alleged assets worth nearly ₹300 crore, which it believes are disproportionate to Bheem Reddy’s known sources of income.
Investigation continues into seized documents
The ACB is continuing its investigation by examining financial records and other material seized during the searches. Officials are expected to provide further details on the case as the investigation progresses.
The agency has not yet disclosed additional information regarding the nature of the alleged assets or the next steps in the investigation.
