Hyderabad/Rangareddy: Task force team conducted inspections revealed severe violations of food safety norms at dairy manufacturing units in Pasumamula Village on Friday. Team inspected All Rich Dairy Private Limited and Anitha Dairy Products units.
All Rich Dairy Private Limited
Inspectors observed significant rust on the transportation trolleys at All Rich Dairy Private Limited. Water stagnation was found on the floor, leading to a bad smell in the manufacturing area. Insect-proof screens were not installed, further compromising hygiene.
Food handlers were working without gloves, headgear, and aprons. The factory did not display its Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) license. Additionally, the license lacked the necessary details, such as the manufacturer’s and marketer’s addresses.
The medical fitness certificates for food handlers were missing. Furthermore, there was no Food Safety Training and Certification (FOSTAC) trainee available at the factory. Authorities seized 263 kg of unlabelled ghee from the premises. The factory’s transportation vehicles lacked the required transport license.
Anitha Dairy Products
The inspection at Anitha Dairy Products revealed similar lapses. The FSSAI license was not displayed at the factory. Water stagnation and bad odor were noted in the manufacturing area. The plant was manufacturing masala buttermilk packets without the necessary license, leading to the seizure of 12 cartons of ‘Tadka paste 09122-01.’
